Welcome! I am a research scientist affiliated with the CNRS in France. I am currently based at the Institut Curie in Paris, within the Physics of Cells and Cancer Laboratory (formerly Physico-Chimie Curie). I am a member of the Dynamic Control of Signaling and Gene Expression team, where I conduct my independent research.
Our research explores how physical forces guide the behavior of biological systems, from single cells to entire tissues. By developing innovative tools and approaches inspired by soft matter physics, we can probe, manipulate, and understand how cells and tissues respond to mechanical cues. Our current projects focus on embryonic development, investigating how mechanics and biochemical signaling work together to shape tissues and build complex structures during the formation of the vertebrate axis. Ultimately, we aim to reveal the physical principles that govern tissue organization and morphogenesis, connecting cellular behavior to large-scale developmental processes.
