I am currently a postdoc in the Physical Chemistry unit of Curie Institute under the supervison of Professor Françoise Brochard. The theme of my research is studying the adhesion forces between the plasma membrane and the cytoskeleton of cells by extrusion of membrane nanotubes. I obtained my PhD from Department of Physics of Brown University in May 2006. My thesis was focused on studying the effects of strong magnetic fields and forces on the swimming of Paramecium caudatum and was supervised by Professor James Valles .
